Family orientated Housekeeper Herefordshire

A wonderful family who have recently relocated to their new home in the Herefordshire countryside are seeking a dynamic, professional Housekeeper to take full responsibility for the smooth running of their large family home. This is a long‑term role suited to someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys genuine autonomy.

• Daily cleaning to an exceptional standard.
• Full laundry care, including ironing, bed changing, and wardrobe management.
• Ongoing organisation of household spaces.
• Occasional babysitting when the nanny is unavailable (not a full childcare role).
• Support hosting friends and family on occasional occasions (additional paid hours).
• Full autonomy over a brand new, well‑organised laundry room.
• Provide support to a cleaner one day per week.
• Live‑in or live‑out arrangement available.

• Experience in private households and working with children.
• Up‑to‑date Basic DBS on the update service.
• Enhanced eDBS registered on the update service (required for work with children and the vulnerable).
• Minimum of two professional referees, one of whom must be a current or former employer.
• Own car and the ability to drive.

Location:

Near Leominster, Herefordshire.
Pay: £27,000 gross per annum.
Job start date:
July 2026.

Hours:

40 hours per week (additional ad‑hoc hours available and paid).
Days required:
Between Monday and Friday.
Accommodation:
Spacious 3‑bedroom detached flat with own entrance, kitchen, living room and bathroom across the garden from the family home, separate driveway and car parking space.
Position:
Permanent.
