Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

This position involves preparing income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, with the potential to work on returns for trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations. The role includes direct client interaction to gather information and address any tax or accounting questions.

Compensation:$71,000-$80,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Potentially handle tax returns for estates, trusts, and non-profits.
• Complete tasks accurately and on time under supervision.
• Collaborate with the tax team to improve processes.
• Perform basic accounting tasks, mainly using client records (e.g., Quick Books).

Must Haves:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting
• At least 4 years of recent experience in public accounting with a focus on tax return preparation
