Commercial Roofing Foreman

A well‑established company is seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Roofing Foreman. They are looking for someone who motivates, is adaptable, team oriented, driven, and dedicated to quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of commercial flat roofing projects
  • Lead a team of roofing technicians, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and organize resources, materials, and equipment required for each project.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues, develop solutions, and ensure work is performed to meet industry standards.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report any variations or potential risks to management.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that work is completed to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing.
  • Extensive knowledge of flat roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on the job site.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
