Role Overview
A dental hygienist is an empowered oral health professional partnering with dentists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern clinical environment.
Responsibilities- Assess oral health, recommend care based on clinical indicators, and educate patients.
- Develop and deliver personalized patient care plans in collaboration with the dentist.
- Utilize digital tools, including advanced technology like 3D scanning and voice-activated charting.
- Manage schedules and supplies independently to ensure thorough assessments and care.
- Partner with the Hygiene Support Team for mentorship and support.
- Engage in ongoing learning through structured onboarding, training, and continuing education programs.
- Associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Valid dental hygiene license in the practice state.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for patient education.
- Ability to work with manageable patient loads, allowing for comprehensive assessments and education.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences with autonomy and professionalism.
