Biology Teacher
Leominster High School is seeking a full-time biology teacher to join our staff. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Leominster High School serves over 1800 students in a growing and diverse community. .
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S./B.A. with a strong GPA in relevant coursework
- Current certification or qualified to obtain Massachusetts Biology Certification grades 9-12.
- SEI Endorsement or ability to earn endorsement prior to September 2024
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with using technology
- Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
- Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, and staff.
- Experience with diverse student populations preferred. Bilingual preferred.
- Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
