Leominster Public Schools is seeking an ABA Tutor for a substantially separate ABA-based classroom. The candidate must be a quick learner, team player, and effective communicator with a passion for special education.
Qualifications- Four-year degree preferred.
- Ability to relate to and work with disabled children.
- Excellent integrity, good moral character, and initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
- Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
- Assist students with all instructional and non-instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher.
- Collect data, use Student Program Books, and share updates with staff.
- Assist students with preparation of all materials and books.
- Assist the teacher in related clerical work.
- Use computers and/or electronic equipment to support remote learning.
- Serve as a role model for students and staff by demonstrating positive attitudes, appropriate attire, grooming, and effective work ethic.
- Participate in appropriate in-service and workshop programs and attend any required meetings.
- Display ethical behavior when working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies.
- Protect confidentiality of records and information, using discretion within legal confines.
