Job Description:Potential Adjunct Faculty
Application submission to the part time adjunct faculty pool is open to qualified and competent experts, who possess skills, education, and experience in academic and/or professional areas.
All part time faculty are responsible for providing our students with a high quality learning environment, while utilizing their focused expertise and experience in their individual classrooms, laboratories, and online platforms.
Adjunct Faculty Postings are for potential part-time, non-benefited, positions during the / academic years.
Applications for adjunct positions will be held in applicant pools by discipline which, whenever a position opens up in any given discipline, will be consulted when searching for candidates to fill the position. Applicants for adjunct positions will not be notified of their status unless they are contacted to come in for
Responsibilities
- Instruction in both traditional and non-traditional learning modes;
Instructional preparation; - Prepare student clinical assignments;
- Supervise students in clinical settings;
- Evaluate students;
- Correct clinical papers;
- Demonstrate procedures and patient care in nursing settings;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensure as an RN in Massachusetts;
- Must possess a minimum of two years full time experience in nursing or its equivalent, one of those years in the provision of nursing services in a nursing home;
- Minimum of one year experiences in lesson planning, lesson delivery, student evaluation and remediation in a position such as in service coordinator or staff education in a health care setting or;
- Complete a minimum of 24 Board of Registration in Nursing approved Continuing education hours in curriculum development, teach adult learners and student evaluation.

- Baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing ;
Salary determined by class being taught.

4 Credit: $6,048-$7,304
4 Credit + Lab: $6,774-$8,180
