Responsibilities of the advisor include:

- Planning and facilitating both content instruction and interdisciplinary, project-based learning that reflects students' interests, particularly their internship experiences.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to design, support, and assess student work, ensuring alignment to standards and shared expectations.
- Participating in a collaborative assessment process in which advisors contribute their content-area expertise to evaluate student progress.
- Preparing students for and supporting them through three annual Exhibitions, and leading regular advisor meetings with students and families to set goals and develop individualized learning plans.
- Supporting students in the development and maintenance of high-quality portfolios that showcase growth, skill development, and mastery across learning domains, and serve as a central component of assessment.
- Collaborating with colleagues to complete report cards that include both competency-based grading and narrative feedback, with the student's advisor responsible for finalizing and communicating the report.
- Contributing to a positive, team-oriented school culture where all staff share responsibility for student success.
- Teaching relevant content and skills to prepare students for postsecondary success, with a focus on Mathematics.
- Ensuring that all students graduate with a viable five-year plan for success.
We seek educators who value rigor, relevance, and relationships, and who are committed to teamwork, real-world learning, and strong partnerships with families and the community.
