Music Teacher/Choral Director
Sky View Middle School seeks a full time highly qualified music educator with excellent musicianship skills, basic piano proficiency, and a willingness to collaborate with teachers across the Leominster Music Department at various events. The preferred candidate will teach general music grades 6-8, and chorus grades 6-8. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Job RequirementsTeaching Responsibilities may include:
- 6th grade general music
- 7th grade general music
- 8th grade general music
- 6th grade through 8th Grade Chorus - afternoon rehearsals and evening performances.
- Collaborate with Leominster Music teachers to align curriculum.
- Additional stipends may be available for after school music ensemble such as Select Choir
- Chaperone and supervise students on trips and performances including school and district level festivals .
