Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage survey projects and client relationships in the Leominster area.
  • Coordinate and assist in scheduling and preparing cost estimates under the supervision of the Survey Director.
  • Work closely with personnel from other departments, as necessary, to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements.
  • Assume responsibility for quality control to ensure surveys are correct and accurate.
  • Make recommendations on hiring, evaluating, promotion and/or discipline of assigned crew members.
  • Promote new business for the total company and for own area of expertise.
  • Supervising, coordinating, and reviewing work of project managers.
Qualifications
  • Licensure as a Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) registration required.
  • Experience in Boundary surveys, Topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, Land Court Surveys, Subdivisions and Construction Layout surveys.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a PLS.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite;
    Civil 3D experience is preferred;
    AutoCAD is required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective management of people with the ability to inspire, lead, communicate, support, and mentor.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and to communicate information clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.

Location:

Leominster, MA. Ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting work (Required).

The estimated salary range for this role is $96,065 - $143,598. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, credentials, skills, and demonstrated proficiency. Compensation is reviewed at least annually and may be adjusted for position advancement, responsibilities, licensure and/or certification.
