Job Description
As a Sustaining Product Engineer on the Research & Development team, you will merge creativity with technical expertise to shape the future of technology, drive groundbreaking projects, and bring new ideas to life.
Responsibilities- Work with QA to define and implement qualification plans; lead qualification efforts for fab site transfer and new products.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish project plans for successful execution.
- Minimize the cost of project execution by finding opportunities to reduce cycle time and optimize workflows.
- Monitor qualification lots, resolve issues during qualification, and develop mitigation plans where needed.
- Monitor and report product performance and qualification activities, including data review and statistical analysis, to clearly communicate and interpret results to both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
- Generate specifications for qualified devices per MIL-PRF-19500 and MIL-PRF-38535.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of product configuration/structure and manufacturing processes; play a key role in problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Participate as the subject‑matter expert in product performance; serve as a key member of cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
- Understanding of electronic engineering principles of discrete and power IC components.
- Demonstrated skills in data review, problem solving, communications and teamwork.
- Ability to simplify complex and detailed standards and processes into actionable, easy‑to‑understand flows for product execution.
- Experience with MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Experience with JMP and/or MINITAB preferred.
- Strong team‑player mindset and self‑starter attributes.
Leominster, MA – Minimum of $95,400 per year and maximum of $131,200 per year. All employees eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
