Position: COMPREHENSIVE PLANNER: LOCAL AND REGIONAL PLANNING

Planner(s) – Full Time (37.5 hours/week)

Montachusett Regional Planning Commission (MRPC) seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Planner to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting local and regional planning initiatives, making improvements to local zoning bylaws/ordinances, and community and economic development efforts.

Preparing clear and comprehensive reports
Conducting community engagement activities
Managing tasks and projects to meet established deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

Experience working with Massachusetts zoning regulations
Bachelor’s degree in planning or a directly related field
Experience in report writing and public presentations
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Three years of zoning experience
Background in municipal planning, community and economic development
Master’s degree in planning
