This position is responsible for delivering education programs to educate healthcare professionals in various clinical specialty areas. Evaluates and assesses classes for content improvement and effectiveness.

I. Major Responsibilities:  
1. Delivers education programs to educate healthcare professionals in various clinical specialty areas, such as, but not limited to, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Saving (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).  2. Ensures appropriate documentation of education programs by maintaining course records to document employee participation and to comply with regulatory requirements.  
3. Manages all appropriate equipment and inventory including cleaning, maintaining, transporting, unloading, and set-up of the necessary materials and supplies for each course.  
4. Evaluates and assesses classes for content improvement and effectiveness.  
5. Seeks professional development opportunities to update clinical theory and practice knowledge and to keep abreast of new trends in education methods and concepts  
6. Keeps abreast of American Heart Association (AHA) standards, certification for instruction by the AHA and adult learning practices  
7. Maintains instructor certifications  
8. Performs administrative tasks including but not limited to email, returning voicemail, filing, scheduling, invoicing, certification card issuance.  
9. Assists with quality monitoring of other instructors within the training center.
