Information Systems & Security Manager

Schedule: Flexible start times | 9-hour days | Half-day Fridays

Are you an experienced security professional with a strong background in both industrial security and cybersecurity? Our client is seeking a dedicated Information Systems & Security Manager to oversee their security initiatives. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure compliance with federal regulations, protect sensitive information, and maintain the stability and integrity of their IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all facility security operations in accordance with NISPOM standards
• Manage personnel security clearances, classified document control, and ongoing security training
• Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity strategies to defend against system and data threats
• Conduct risk assessments, insider threat evaluations, and implement mitigation measures
• Maintain communication with government agencies and facilitate compliance audits
• Administer security infrastructure including firewalls, anti-malware tools, and intrusion detection systems
• Support business goals by managing IT projects, software/hardware upkeep, and system upgrades

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial security, NISPOM compliance, COMSEC, and physical security
• Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) is strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
• Familiarity with DISS, NISS, cybersecurity practices, and network/system management
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general IT troubleshooting
• Understanding of government-mandated training programs including FSO and DCSA ISSM RMF
