Location: Leominster MA (Night Shift)
Hours: Thursday - Saturday, alternating Wednesday's, 7pm - 7am
As a Production Shift Supervisor At IPLS You Will
- Production & Inventory Oversight:
- Monitor production schedules and ensure the timely completion of orders.
- Meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Proactively identify and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. Monitor and control scrap rates in InTouch, implementing corrective actions to reduce waste.
- Accurately complete production reports, including output, downtime, and scrap data. Review Shop Orders for accuracy before running.
- Investigate errors – Root Cause Analysis.
- Quality Control:
- Enforce quality standards and procedures, ensuring products meet specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections, identifying and addressing any defects.
- Collaborate with process technicians to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation of quality checks, inspections, and corrective actions.
The Role
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and report generation.
