3rd Shift Process Technician

Summary

The Process Technician is responsible for the efficient operation of injection molding processes and troubleshooting molding issues in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Monitors machines and provides process assistance in a timely manner to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Starts up and adjusts machines for maximum output and efficiency and to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Performs injection mold changes.
• Sets up auxiliary equipment.
• Programs robotic material handlers and injection mold machines.
• Performs insert and version changes to molds, including date code accuracy.
• Assists Maintenance Technicians in the repair of machines, molds, and other auxiliary machines.
• Assists the Safety and Technical Managers in enforcing safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Assists in the inspection of in-process and finished product.

• Minimum of 3 years related experience, preferably in an injection molding manufacturing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office
• Able and willing to work flexible shifts (including 12-hour rotating day/night shifts)
• Ability to cover shifts and work overtime hours as needed
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or otherwise move up to 50 lbs.
