END CLIENT NAME: Beacon Med Tech, contract manufacturer of custom-engineered thermoplastic, liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and thermoset parts and assemblies
We are seeking a Mold Maker/Manufacturing Technician. The primary responsibilities will be to build, repair, and modify molds using CNC/manual machines while ensuring precision and quality standards are met.
- Build new molds from raw materials using CNC and manual machining equipment
- Repair and modify existing molds using using CNC and manual machining equipment
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds for repair and evaluation
- Review and interpret drawings and models
- Operate lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and other manual/CNC equipment
- Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges) to ensure tight tolerance machining and final fitting
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend improvements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company and industry safety standards
- Perform other Tool Room-related duties as assigned
