Summary:
Leads all company production and logistics operations to achieve 100% make-to-order customer fulfillment while increasing operating productivity
Bevovations, LLC dba New England Apple Products Company (NEAP) is a family-owned hard cider and beverage manufacturer based in Leominster, Massachusetts, dedicated to crafting quality cider and beverage products for the New England market
Full-Time | Exempt | $95,000–$115,000 annually
Examples ofDuties and Responsibilities:
- Manages production planning and scheduling to meet daily/weekly fulfillment targets.
- Oversees logistics, including shipping, receiving, and warehouse coordination.
- Manages peak production including extended hours and increased labor coordination.
- Requires schedule flexibility during this period, including extended weekday hours and regular weekend coverage.
- Willing and able to work hands-on in production/warehouse when coverage requires it, particularly during peak season.
- Leads continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Recommends capital improvement projects with ROI justification.
- Coordinates raw material stock levels with the Hard Cider Production and Materials Manager.
- Works with the Office Manager to adjust daily production and logistics schedules.
- Documents all operations processes and updates SOPs.
- Conducts OSHA-required safety trainings with HR and maintains required documentation.
- Ensures and supports compliance with GFSI food safety systems, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation requirements.
- Supports cross-functional communication between production, warehouse, HR, and leadership.
- Self-directed with a “whatever it takes” approach during peak production periods.
- 7-10 years of management in food/beverage environments with increasing responsibility.
- Familiarity with third-party food safety audits and GFSI systems.
- Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Demonstrated history of productivity improvement;
Lean experience preferred. - Ability to build and maintain Excel tracking spreadsheets for production, inventory, and labor metrics.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lb
