Job Summary

Seeking a Tooling Mold Maker for a high growth plastic injection molding client in the Sterling, MA area.

The Tooling Mold Maker is responsible for building, repairing, and refurbishing precision injection molds and components; perform preventative maintenance to maximize tool life.

• Mold & Tooling Maintenance:
  Build, repair, and refurbish precision injection molds and components; perform preventative maintenance to maximize tool life.
• Troubleshooting & Repair:
  Disassemble, inspect, and diagnose tooling issues to implement effective corrective actions and reassemble molds.
• Precision Benchwork:
  Fit, bench, and assemble mold components while maintaining strict dimensional tolerances.
• Manual Machining:
  Safely operate mills, lathes, surface grinders, and toolroom equipment to machine components from raw materials, drawings, or models.
• Quality Assurance:
  Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify strict conformance to specifications and maintain high workmanship standards.
