General Labor Worker

Marathon Staffing is hiring General Labor Workers to support various light industrial and facility operations. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks including material handling, basic cleaning, sorting, loading/unloading, and assisting machine operators as needed. You'll follow safety procedures, use basic hand tools or equipment, and help keep work areas clean and organized. This position requires standing, lifting, and working at a steady pace throughout the shift.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, able to follow directions, and comfortable working as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and material handling
• Assist with basic cleaning, sorting, and organizing work areas
• Support machine operators and production staff as directed
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment as trained
• Inspect materials for obvious defects or damage and report issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
• Meet daily productivity and quality expectations
• Communicate with supervisors regarding task status and issues
• Work effectively as part of a team to support facility operations
