Promote a culture of “Safety and Quality first”. Resolve day-to-day assembly issues quickly to minimize production disruptions. Debug and troubleshoot process deviations using OCAPs. Assist in the design of experiments and run tests. Compile and maintain documentation including test plans, procedures, results and reports. Document RCCAs. Create OCAPs, procedure specification and user-friendly documents to ensure issues are not repeated. Drive and support continuous improvement activities.
Completion of an Associate Degree or Certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent is desired. Completion of a Secondary (High School) Vocational /Technology program with electronics focus, or a high school diploma plus work experience coupled with relevant industry recognized certificates may be acceptable. Experience in the hardware technology sector, preferably in semiconductor, electronic product operations, cGMP or a regulated environment.
Excellent electro-mechanical fundamentals and possess analytical skills. Ideally, knowledge of backend semiconductor equipment and process including, but not limited to Wire bonding, Die Attach, Dicing, Sealing. The ability to work independently and take direction from engineering and or senior technical staff. Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, and effective in defining and meeting ambitious to stretched goals. Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic production environment.
Familiarity in tools for production and quality control, issue resolution, continuous improvement, and lean concepts. Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication and reporting skills. Possesses good computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office, MES experience a plus).
