In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $19.75 – $24.75.
Job SummaryReceives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, including grinds. Assists in merchandising of seafood, prepared foods, cheeses and pre‑packed deli and supports the rotisserie chicken area and full service deli. Assists in meat selection and prepares special meat arrangements for members. Maintains all sanitation and safety standards within the meat department.

Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA), Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean Club Standards. Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, with commitment and pride to deliver a Grand opening look daily, keep all items stocked, promotional plans executed, maintain visible accurate signage, keep the space clean and organized, and understand business performance reporting.
- Engage and provide assistance to members by making recommendations and answering questions about meat, poultry, and seafood
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by members
- Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company cutting standards
- Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company packaging standards
- Ensure meat cases showcase all currently available products
- Maintain an appropriate level of inventory in the meat department
- Ensure the meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases are fully stocked and rotated according to expiration dates
- Dispose of damaged and/or expired products following established guidelines
- Clean and sanitize all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department, including the meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated display cases
- Inspect and store meat upon delivery, ensuring all received meats meet or exceed company quality standards
- Unpack meat, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses in the meat cooler and freezer
- Maintain all club policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned, including placing orders and working in other departments as needed
- Regular, predictable full attendance is an essential function of this job
- Completion of a training program or apprenticeship required
