Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. In this customer‑focused role you will work independently and collaboratively to positively impact the lives of others.

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues.
• Focusing on the customer by offering a warm greeting, eye contact, and assistance in locating items.
• Accurately performing cashier duties – handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies.
• Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Providing support to all departments (photo, beauty, etc.) to keep them fully stocked and operational.
• Assisting pharmacy personnel on regular shifts as part of growth opportunities.
• Embracing and advocating new CVS services and loyalty programs.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods.
  • Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and minimal force regularly.
  • Performing visual inspections with close visual acuity.
• Visual Acuity – ability to read small details and view a computer terminal.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer‑service setting.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Part time

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 – $22.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
