Plant Electrician

Georgia-Pacific's Leominster, MA facility is seeking a skilled Plant Electrician to join our team. Georgia-Pacific's Leominster, MA facility uses state-of-the-art technology to manufacture Dixie® cutlery, a trusted brand used in homes and businesses across the country. Our maintenance team works closely with operations and engineering to solve challenges, improve reliability, and support safe, efficient production. This position pays $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and job-related qualifications as well as a shift differential ($1 for days, $2 for nights). Highly skilled candidates may be eligible for a higher starting rate consistent with our compensation philosophy. We have openings for 12-hour
overnight and daytime shifts. Plant Electricians work some weekends, holidays, and overtime as required and maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical equipment and circuits to support safe, reliable production
• Install and commission equipment in accordance with OSHA requirements and applicable electrical codes
• Perform preventive maintenance activities that improve equipment reliability and maximize facility uptime
• Interpret electrical, process, and instrumentation drawings to diagnose issues and identify solutions
• Support equipment upgrades, continuous improvement projects, and successful equipment startups
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, labor hours, and service-order documentation in the MP2 system
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams while contributing ideas that create value and improve performance

• Two (2) years or more of electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Licensed electrician (i.e., journeyman), as required in the state of MA

• Experience interpreting process, instrumentation, and electrical drawings
• Experience with Control Logix, Device Net, and Control Net
• Experience with 480 volt motors
