Community Strategies, Reentry Services, Crime & Justice Institute, and Family Reentry.

About this position

CRJ wants you to join our growing team of compassionate and dependable Residential Counselors to support the wonderful individuals we serve. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position (40 hours/week) based in Leominster, MA. The position is eligible for benefits and has a starting hourly rate of $18, with a pay range of $18–$22 per hour.

Schedules
  • Sunday 7‑am–3‑pm;
    Monday 3‑pm–11‑pm;
    Wednesday 3‑pm–11‑pm;
    Thursday 7‑am–3‑pm;
    Friday 7‑am–3‑pm
  • Tuesday 7‑am–3‑pm;
    Wednesday 7‑am–3‑pm;
    Thursday 3‑pm–11‑pm;
    Friday 7‑am–3‑pm;
    Saturday 3‑pm–11‑pm
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, including job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
  • Support and teach clients new skills, including specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan.
  • Act as a positive role model to support clients attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings.
  • Administer medications and complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance records.
Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others.
  • Must pass required certifications within the allotted time set forth by the agency.
  • Must pass a criminal and driver’s check.
