Senior Resident Services Coordinator

Schochet is seeking an experienced Senior Resident Services Coordinator to join our team at Plumley Village in Worcester, MA. This role provides leadership in resident services while helping individuals and families access resources, overcome barriers, and build greater stability and independence. Plumley Village is a 400+ Multifamily apartment community in Worcester, MA.
The Senior RSC will build trusted relationships with residents, coordinate services, advocate for individuals and families, develop community partnerships, and create programs that promote wellness, engagement, and connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess resident needs, provide referrals, coordinate services, and follow up on outcomes.
- Support residents with housing stability, benefits, employment, education, food assistance, healthcare, mental health, and aging-in-place resources.
- Advocate for residents and help resolve complex challenges and barriers.
- Develop relationships with nonprofits, agencies, service providers, and community partners.
- Plan and coordinate educational, wellness, and community engagement programs.
- Collaborate with property management, volunteers, and Resident Services staff.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to Resident Services colleagues.
- Maintain accurate documentation while protecting resident confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- 3–5+ years of experience in resident services, social services, case management, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Community Development, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals and families with diverse and/or complex needs
- Strong knowledge of community resources and social service systems
- Excellent communication, advocacy, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing programs and community partnerships
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Prior mentoring or leadership experience preferred
