Inventory Control Associate

Marathon Staffing is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support warehouse operations within our light industrial client base. In this role, you will accurately track, count, and reconcile inventory, process incoming and outgoing shipments, and investigate discrepancies in stock records. You will use basic computer systems and handheld scanners, generate inventory reports, and coordinate with supervisors and shipping/receiving teams. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, reliability, and the ability to stand, lift, and move materials in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records
• Receive, label, and store incoming materials accurately
• Pick and stage inventory for outgoing orders and shipments
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies or damages
• Operate scanners and basic warehouse technology to track stock
• Maintain organized, clean storage areas and stock locations
• Prepare basic inventory reports for supervisors or management
• Follow safety procedures while moving, lifting, and storing items
• Collaborate with warehouse and shipping/receiving teams to meet deadlines
