QC Inspector for Aerospace Machine Shop - CMM Experience Required

Purpose:

To ensure quality standards are upheld in order to meet customer requirements and company quality standards.

High School Diploma, GED or 5 years’ shop experience

Experience:

CMM Experience Required

Faro Arm with Verisurf Software or Keyence CMM, including DISCUS software.

• Inspect parts as required.
• Uphold standards set in Quality Manual to ensure adherence to AS9100.
• Responsible for First Article Inspection while part is in process and upon completion.
• Complete First Article Reports (AS9102) as required.
• Organize and verify calibration of tools and measuring instruments.

• Read and write English.
• Read drawings and travelers to determine customer specification.
• Proficient in use of precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges, thread gauges,  OD micrometers, height gauge, optical comparator, etc.
• Understanding of machine shop practices.
• Proficient in GD&T.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
