Speech Pathologist
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Leonardtown, MD. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 9 th and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized speech and language assessments and therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school policies
- Support compliance with relevant educational standards and licensing requirements
- Maryland SLP License required
- Certification in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school‑age children in K‑12 settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school personnel
- Typical work hours approximately 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM
- Full‑time, contract position for the current school year
- Location to be determined within the St. Marys County Public Schools district, Leonardtown, MD area
