Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. Our Student Services Department is seeking dedicated psychologists to provide in-person support for a diverse school community. This full-time contract opportunity begins in August 2026 and runs through June 2027, offering a chance to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals in fostering student growth and well-being.
What You’ll Bring- Active Maryland School Psychology License
- Experience working in K‑12 educational settings as a school psychologist
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, counseling techniques, and behavioral interventions
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists for comprehensive student support
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive practices
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Provide individual and group counseling for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create a supportive environment for students’ academic and social‑emotional success
- Offer crisis intervention and support when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district policies and state regulations
