Must-Have:
Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required.
First-time travelers accepted.
Float to Telemetry and Med-Surg required as needed.
Ratios on these units are 1:5/1:6.
Every other weekend required based on operational need.
No call required.

Description:

The role requires a registered nurse in the Intermediate Care specialty.
Candidates will be expected to care for adult patients with varying diagnoses, including chronic health conditions and post-surgical recovery.
Responsibilities include bedside monitoring, managing medications, and performing various medical procedures.
Nurses must possess skills in telemetry and be able to interpret dysrhythmias.

Experience with IV protocols, feeding tube management, and hemodialysis is necessary.
Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and respond to patient emergencies.
The unit supports interdisciplinary services including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Nurses will be part of a team that ensures high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.
