Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/IMC/Stepdown position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and the ability to pass an EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Intermediate Care (IMC) / Stepdown setting in a hospital environment

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

• Every other weekend required, with scheduling directed based on operational need

• Floating to Telemetry and Med/Surg units required as needed (patient ratios on float units are 1:5 to 1:6)

• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum 2 years of PCU, IMC, or Stepdown RN experience required

• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section

• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
