Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Cyber Linx Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of servers, storage, networks, virtualization, and cloud systems. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineer with extensive experience in enterprise environments and serves as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and networking
• Manage Windows Server environments (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server) and virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper‑V
• Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls, routers, and switches (e.g., Cisco Systems, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks)
• Oversee cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
• Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
• Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and architecture diagrams

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• 5 –10+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure engineering
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, virtualization, networking, and cloud platforms
• Hands on experience with enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to lead projects and provide technical guidance

• Advanced certifications such as Microsoft (Azure), VMware (VCP), Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), or Security+
• Experience with scripting/automation (Power Shell, Python, or similar)
• Experience in regulated or multi-site enterprise environments
• Master’s degree or advanced technical certifications
