Requirements

  • Required Certifications & Skills
    • Skills: Central line care/management, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur Evac, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Management of dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, PCA, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Starting and maintaining IVs, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
    • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Licensure: MD License or Compact License.
  • Previous Charge Nurse
