PRN Nurse Practitioner – Interventional Radiology at Med Star St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland. Med Star Medical Group is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to join the Interventional Radiology team. This flexible opportunity allows an advanced practice provider to work alongside interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Nurse Practitioner will support the Interventional Radiology service by providing patient evaluations, consultations, pre- and post-procedure management, follow-up care, and coordination of treatment plans. The APP will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and continuity of care.

• Perform patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments
• Evaluate patients before and after interventional procedures
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Provide patient education and coordinate follow-up care
• Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Current or eligible Maryland Nurse Practitioner licensure
• Previous experience in Interventional Radiology, surgery, critical care, hospital medicine, or a procedural specialty preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary range: USD $55.29 - USD $91.35 /Hr.
