Intern
Description
Kulite has immediate openings for eager, sharp-minded undergraduate students for internship positions in various departments. Students will be paired with a Mentor who will guide them in completion of an Internship Project. Internship Projects will be hands-on Engineering projects that will both provide benefit to the Company as well as enrich the students' engineering education by exposing them to practical problems in a manufacturing environment.
Kulite designs and manufactures cutting edge sensing technology for markets such as Aerospace, Space Launch, Undersea and Automotive Test and Racing (F1). Examples of past projects include:
* Researching, choosing, purchasing and characterizing a 3D Printer
* Creating a digital transducer calibration system
* Performing a study to maximize production line efficiency
* Analysis of electrical properties of Parylene films
* Building and implementing a demo for a new acoustic compensation product
* Follow all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Standards.
Requirements:
* Students in disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering as well as Materials Science and Physics
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Benefits:

Rate: $19 - 23 hourly depending on academic year
