This full-time position begins August 4, 2026, leading the wardrobe department in planning, constructing, and maintaining costumes for drama productions. Collaborate with faculty, students, and directors to ensure costumes align with artistic visions while providing educational support. This role balances creativity and technical skills within a vibrant production setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret and execute costume designs for multiple productions
• Develop material estimates and manage production budgets
• Oversee costume fittings and alterations for accuracy
• Maintain and coordinate the university’s costume inventory
• Mentor students and promote safety in the costume shop
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Costume Design or Theatre Production
• 2-5 years in theatrical costume construction
• Skills in pattern drafting and historical costume techniques
• Proven leadership and teamwork abilities in educational settings
• Strong commitment to inclusive mentorship practices
