Position: Manager Commercial Banking )

A career as a Manager, Commercial Banking in the 1859 Private Wealth Management team means acting as a privileged guide for hundreds of small to medium‑sized businesses, surrounded by experts, to guide clients toward the most suitable financial solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain client portfolio
  • Meet business development objectives by proposing tailored solutions to clients
  • Seize referral opportunities across the Bank’s synergy
  • Conduct financial analyses and develop financing scenarios
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of products with clients, ensuring profitability criteria are met
  • Apply service quality standards and comply with risk management rules
  • Identify business opportunities in the market for all Bank products and services
  • Participate in visibility activities in the market
  • Identify risks inherent to sector activities
Team & Reporting

Within the Private Wealth Management & Enterprises 1859 sector, you are part of a team of professionals supporting commercial customers and have access to an ecosystem of experts. You report to the Regional Vice‑President and the position is based in Lethbridge.

Prerequisites
  • University certificate and 7 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience
  • Master’s degree and 3 years of experience
  • Experience in business development
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis
  • Established professional network of contacts with local small and medium‑sized businesses
  • Negotiation skills
