Director of Resource Planning at University

Lead resource planning initiatives at the University of Lethbridge as the Director of Resource Planning. Oversee budget development, ensure compliance, and guide strategic financial priorities.

As the Director of Resource Planning, you will report to the Associate Vice-President (Finance) in this full-time, continuing role. You will collaborate with senior leadership on the development of the University’s consolidated budget and manage budget forecasts and allocations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in determining the strategic direction for the Financial Services department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the University’s annual consolidated budget

• Prepare comprehensive budget reports for Board approval

• Oversee the position control process and recommendations

• Act as a resource for the Budget Advisory Committee

• Supervise a team of analysts for optimal performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation required

• Experience in post-secondary planning and ERP tools

• Knowledge of specialized budgeting software

• Strong skills in forecasting and reporting
