Select People Solutions is looking to add a new member to our recruitment team. If you are great with people, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and ready to transition those customer service skills into a professional setting then this might just be the role for you.

As a Recruiter, you’ll be working with both job seekers and employers to help find their right person for the right role. In doing so, you will assist individuals in finding meaningful work while supporting local Lethbridge businesses with their hiring needs.

Hours:

• Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, some overtime may be required as well as outside community involvement

Position Summary:

• Work directly with employers to define role needs and hiring objectives

• Stay informed on the Lethbridge job market, tracking key trends, growth areas, and opportunities

• Assess candidates through in-person, video, and phone interviews

• Conduct candidate screening and qualification, including reference checks and assessments

• Provide hiring managers with a shortlist of strong, engaged candidates

• Support and facilitate offer negotiations between candidates and employers

• Manage consistent follow-up and communication to maintain strong candidate and client relationships

• Identify and pursue new business leads, converting them into active recruitment assignments

Required Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of customer service experience

• A genuine interest in the Lethbridge job market and a feel for the kinds of roles that keep our community working

• People-focused, with a knack for connecting quickly and understanding both sides of the hiring conversation

• Able to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects, and keep people and tasks moving toward completion

• Accountable, self-motivated, and confident, with a strong sense of ownership and integrity

• Warm, professional, and able to balance relationship-building with results

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with sales, project management and/or recruitment

• Digitally confident, with the ability to navigate databases, Linked In, and other recruitment tools with ease

• Post-secondary education
