As the HR Assistant / Assistant to the AVP, Human Resources, you’ll become a central connector within a dynamic HR team—supporting people, processes, and ideas that shape the employee experience across the university. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support: you’ll help keep complex HR operations moving smoothly, assist with high‑volume inquiries, contribute to budget oversight, and support events and programs that recognize and uplift our people.It’s a role for someone who loves variety, appreciates structure, and is curious about the inner workings of human resources.

What You’ll Do
Unlike traditional administrative roles, this position is intentionally designed to cross‑train across multiple HR functions, inviting you to explore different aspects of the employee lifecycle.
The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Exempt Support Staff (ESS) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project. Position Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
