- Partner closely with plant leadership to align HR strategies with operational and business objectives
- Lead employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives
- Support leadership teams through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and change management
- Foster a positive workplace culture focused on engagement, communication, inclusion, and continuous improvement
- Oversee HR programs including recruitment, onboarding, compensation administration, training, and policy development
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and workplace safety initiatives
- Drive organizational effectiveness through process improvement and high‑performance team development
- Collaborate with external HR teams and operational leaders to support long‑term business growth
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or Generalist capacity
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
- Manufacturing and union experience
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of an organization
- Experience supporting fast‑paced operational or manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Previous experience working within a unionized environment
- CPHR Designation
- Knowledge of continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles considered an asset
