Your role focuses on excellent customer service and efficient departmental operations while reporting directly to the Store Manager.
As a Department Manager, your responsibilities will include fostering a strong culture of customer service and maintaining the department’s quality. You will oversee daily operations, manage your team, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations. Further, you'll support training, conduct performance evaluations, and develop work schedules that fit business needs and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction
• Maintain high standards for department presentation
• Plan and manage departmental activities and employee initiatives
• Train and support your team effectively
• Address any operational challenges or conflicts
Requirements:
• Relevant supervisory or managerial experience
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Experience in retail operations (asset)
• Valid Driving Licence is required
