Lead Executive Director for Catholic Schools

Become an instrumental leader as the Executive Director with the Council of Catholic School Superintendents of Alberta, launching in August 2026. Shape the future of Catholic education through strategic fiscal and educational leadership.

The Council seeks an Executive Director who is a committed practicing Catholic with a wealth of administrative experience in the educational landscape. You will oversee key aspects of Catholic education, including curriculum development and strategic planning. This role requires an ability to maintain strong professional relationships and communication channels with stakeholders at all levels, including government departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model engagement within a Catholic faith community

• Guide Religious Education Curriculum and resources

• Oversee financial management and reporting

• Cultivate relationships with the CCSSA Executive

• Spearhead strategic annual planning initiatives

Requirements:

• Background in Theology and/or Religious Education is advantageous

• Extensive experience in senior Catholic educational administration

• Excellent organizational skills for operational compliance

• Effective communicator with various stakeholders

• Proficient with budget oversight and financial accountability
