Support Interfaith Food Bank's mission as a Volunteer in Food Assistance Programs. Play a key role in fostering community connections while aiding in food distribution tasks.

This volunteer position offers hands-on experience in helping low-income populations while managing the logistics of food assistance. Responsibilities include greeting clients, taking food orders, and ensuring a positive experience in an inclusive environment. You will also participate in varied tasks across the team to enhance service flexibility and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with food service options

• Complete food hamper assembly efficiently

• Foster prompt and supportive client interactions

• Maintain organization and sanitation in service areas

• Ensure confidentiality of client information

Requirements:

• Age requirement: 16 years and above

• Complete orientation and trial shift successfully

• Commit to at least four months as a volunteer

• Able to lift over 40 pounds regularly

• Exhibit independent work habits and responsibility
