at Chartwell, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our residents. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will help foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere where food is both nourishing and enjoyable.

• Prepare, cook and plate food following Chartwell menu guidelines
• Comply with all public health regulations and safe food handling guidelines
• Maintain food preparation areas and equipment in a sanitary condition
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time and at the correct temperature
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies

• Previous cooking experience in food services
• Food Handler certification
• Work collaboratively as a team member
• Interact and communicate effectively with internal and external customers

• Wear personal protective equipment as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
• Manual dexterity to handle cooking tools and kitchen equipment
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
