• Develop and maintain effective business relations with current and potential customers, based on an approach that results in profitable business relationships.
• Provide agronomic information and advice to current and potential customers – arranging for access to specialists and learning opportunities where necessary.
• Conduct soil, tissue, weed, pest and water analysis to recommend best practices for soil fertility management to customers.
• Research and respond to technical inquiries.
• Maintain and analyze a database/record of customer profiles (product usage and service requirements) to identify, categorize and prioritize the customer base.
• Communicate a variety of information and recommendations to staff and customers.
• Maintain knowledge of Nutrien Ag Solutions product offerings, including features, benefits and uses.
• Champion Nutrien’s culture of care and comply with Nutrien, industry regulatory and EH&S standards.

• 3+ years of progressively responsible agri‑business and/or related customer service experience.
• Post‑secondary education in Agriculture; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of sales experience in the agriculture industry preferred.
• Strong teamwork, negotiation skills, self‑motivation and self‑starter qualities.
• Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s licence.
• Professional Agrologist (PAg) or Registered Technologist in Agrology (RTAg), Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) designation or eligibility.
