Position: Full-Time Agronomist at McCain Foods
Location: Coaldale

In this critical role, you'll work closely with growers to provide agronomic expertise and implement best practices that ensure high crop quality and yield. Collaboration with universities and research institutions is essential for driving innovation in agricultural techniques. This position directly supports the strategic goals of McCain's North America Agriculture team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with growers to enhance yield and quality

• Conduct regional variety trials for new potatoes

• Develop and implement crop Best Management Practices

• Manage data collection and analysis for crops

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for production goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Plant Science, Agronomy, or related

• Experience in potato practices and agronomy

• Proficiency in analytical tools, Excel preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Interest in innovative agriculture techniques
