Science Laboratory Technician Polytechnic

In this role, you will support the Centre for Business, Arts, and Sciences by preparing specimens, maintaining equipment, and delivering vital lab components. With a diploma in biological sciences and at least one year of field experience, your organizational and communication skills will contribute significantly to the learning environment. Being part of a student-centered team, you will help develop practical learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and store laboratory specimens and samples safely

• Maintain lab equipment and ensure readiness for classes

• Aid in the delivery of both laboratory and field experiences

• Collaborate with faculty and enhance student learning

• Ensure compliance with safety and organizational protocols

Requirements:

• Diploma in biology or related field

• Minimum one year of relevant field experience

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Office software

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
