Heavy Duty Mechanic

Located in Lethbridge
Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills a requirement.
Hourly Wage based on experience - Range $40-47/hrs Strong Diagnostic skills will bring the highest wage.
A willingness to excel on a vast array of vehicles and equipment would serve you well, as our shop works on all makes and models.
Our primary work is on these brands: Trailers, Freightliner, Western Star, International, Peterbilt, and Kenworth. (Cummins, Detroit, International, Paccar).
Please note, a pre-employment skills test will be conducted during the first in-person interview.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting/diagnosing and repair of all truck systems.
• Commercial Vehicle Inspections
• Quality repairs and maintenance on heavy-truck and diesel engines from multiple brands.
• Proficient in emissions inspections, drive-train, electrical, air/brake system repairs.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Write detailed and professional stories on work orders.
• Maintain a clean work environment, as well as personal and company tools.
• Showing up with a positive attitude and willingness to work as a team to achieve success.
• Mentor other technicians
• Collaborate with the foreman and the service department for efficient shop workflow
• Meet or exceed standard repair times
